Our Veterans’ uniforms are a physical reminder that their service and our freedom are a product of sacrifice, selflessness, and often separation from loved ones. The wear and marks on these uniforms are a testament to the tangible efforts they put forth, and each thread tells a story of the man or woman who put their country first.

These uniforms deserve so much more than to hang forgotten in the back of a closet or worse, retired to a landfill. Wearable Gratitude proudly receives donated uniforms and turns them into a wearable legacy- a testament and reminder that freedom isn’t free. Wearable Gratitude textiles come from all branches of the Military, and we are proud to share the story of each Veteran with the products made from their uniforms. Their stories deserve to be told.

DONATION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

WHAT TYPE OF DONATIONS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept uniforms from all military branches and camouflage patterns, including but not limited to combat “work uniforms” and dress uniforms.

We will happily take your BDUs, zippered tops, pants, trench coats, flight suits, dress jackets, dress shirts, and belts.

We will accept ALL canvas surplus, including half shelters, tents, and bags.

We also welcome and upcycle all tags, tapes, buttons, or other objects left on the uniforms.

We do not take boots or any type of metal or plastic equipment or surplus.

We will not take any underclothing, socks, etc.,

We now refund for shipping!
Once you send your box of uniforms, please email us a copy of your receipt. Once we receive the package, we will send you a refund to cover your shipping costs. You can include the info with the donation sheet above or after you ship via email (amy@wearablegratitude.com). Please only use United States Postal ground services to keep your shipping cost down.

The most economical way to ship larger and heavy boxes is by using United States Postal Ground Parcel.

Please do not mail packages with a shipping fee of over $15.00. We will refund up to $15.00 shipping costs. If you ship over the $15.00 limit, we will treat the remaining balance as a portion of your donation.

WHY DO YOU NEED MY BIO?
Part of our mission is to honor our donors’ service and life and keep that legacy alive. We do this by sending a uniform donor bio card with every Wearable Gratitude™ product shipped. If you would like to remain anonymous, we can do that as well. However, we will redeploy your donation into other Wearable Gratitude™ products and fashions. If you would like to remain anonymous please let us know to exclude your name from the product bio.

AM I REQUIRED TO SUBMIT MY PHOTO?
No, photos are optional. We will use your branch crest in place of a photo if you do not wish to submit one. We value your privacy, and it’s entirely up to you if you would like to share your picture and social media on our Heroes Wall.
CAN I PURCHASE A ValorBAND™ MADE FROM MY DONATED UNIFORM? Yes! However, we can’t guarantee when your uniforms will be used and ready for purchase.
